Constructing the background

08.04.2013:

Hi guys, first off I really love the idea of this background. But because of the strong perspective being scrollable to the left and right could be a problem. So I attached two of those backgrounds together, so that my client could see how it looks as whole. Because you only see always a small part of the background only it shouldn't be a problem. So we went with it.

Concepts for the burning city

07.04.2013:

After the freaking long day work at Friday I needed a little time out yesterday. So here finally the concepts for the second background. In contrast to background #1 this one is only repeatable in the horizontal plane and not in all four directions. And it's also a lot more fun as painting rocks all day :D

Final background

05.04.2013:

Hi guys, I reworked the whole thing and like it much more now. Also I finished it all up in one day. Which is crazy regarding how slowly I got along with it the last days. I assume from the first concept till now there are 20 hours in. Which is way to much. But I really struggle with painting rocks, so this was challenging for me. Here the version I sent to Javier. The little window on top is simply for size relations :)
